I’m not optimistic that we’ll see much of the lunar eclipse here in Pittsburgh tonight - we have cloud cover and snow flurries. We’ll try, and report back if we have any luck - and hope that the MetBlogs in clearer climes post pictures!
I’d given up hope of catching any of the eclipse — but then a friend called and I looked outside. There’s a couple pictures to go with that post.
There’s another lunar eclipse August 28th (our 24th wedding anniversary) early in the morning. It’s not full — totality and the Moon will be close to the horizon — but it should be fun if you don’t mind getting up early.

We caught a glimpse as well. Our older son lucked out and was on a plane, above the clouds, with a great view of the totality.
