Ask yourself: Do I feel lucky?

If you’re superstitious, you’re probably thinking tomorrow is a night to stay in. It is Friday the 13th, after all. But if you don’t fear black cats, broken mirrors or cracks in the sidewalk, there are plenty of wonderful things to do and see:

5-8pm – Art auction to benefit school board candidate Heather Arnet at Pavement, the cool shoe store in Lawrenceville.

5-8pm – opening reception for thesis art by CMU’s MFA class of 2007 at the Miller Gallery

5-10pm – halfprice admission to The Warhol, where you’ll find a cash bar in the lobby.

7:30pm – Emergenza, an international battle of the bands, is in Pittsburgh semifinals all weekend long at Mr. Small’s.

8pm – Inland Empire, David Lynch’s twisted latest, at the Regent Square Theater

9:30pm – Shipwreck, blown in from Champaign, Illinois, at Brillobox, with The Singles and Like Summer.

Midnight – Laser light show. Pink Floyd. Carnegie Science Center. We know what you’re thinking.

Ask yourself: Do I feel lucky. Well, do ya, punk?
