It has been a while since I have posted any pictures of Bakery Square – with the colder weather I have been doing less walking. I did pull over to take a picture of the buildings today – looks like quite a bit has been built in the past 2 months.

This little note was sitting with some literature about diabetes on the side table in the waiting room at the doctors office. I wonder how long it has been sitting there.

I just called my doctors office which is located in the building next to Shadyside hospital and was told to call back later because they have no power. I asked if it was just the computers or all power is out. The nurse said all power was down. I don’t know if this has impacted the hospital or not but I hope it gets fixed soon.   What could be causing a power outage in the  Shadyside/Oakland area?

I am a few hours too late in reading today’s email about the Three River’s Film Festival and it is my loss. This documentary, Song Sung Blue, about a Neil Diamond Tribute band looks awesome. Did anyone see it – how was the film?
